Ellie Escher

Emmaus, PA & Online

Ellie Escher is a performer/pedagogue who is as passionate about teaching as she is about singing. Ellie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Magna Cum Laude) from Scripps College in Claremont, CA and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy (with distinction) from Westminster Choir College of Rider University. While at WCC she studied voice science with Dr. Scott McCoy (Your Voice: An Inside View) and Vocal Pedagogy with Marvin Keenze. She was selected to be a NATS intern in 2008 and completed her 200-hour Yoga teacher training and her YogaVoice® Practitioner certification in 2013.  Now with 20 years of independent studio teaching experience she specializes in Music Theater styles.  With a focus on secure technique, stylistic fluency and believable acting her students have success in casting and performance.  She also works with adult students who have taken time away from singing and are eager to explore what their voice can do! She loves the curiosity and playfulness that a YogaVoice® pedagogy supports.
