Specialty: Ioanna Tsakalakos is an opera singer, voice teacher, music teacher, and sound yogini. YogaVoice® has become the most essential addition to her healing modalities. She incorporates YogaVoice® in her voice lessons, choir rehearsals, and music lessons.

Greek-American soprano Ioanna Tsakalakos has trained in vocal performance across the US, Greece, Italy, and Germany. She holds several degrees, including an MM in classical vocal performance, a Diploma in Monodia (Voice), a BA in Music and Comparative Literature, and a Teaching Artist Certificate. Additionally, she completed one year of PhD coursework in Music Education, focusing on Vocal Pedagogy. Ioanna has performed in opera productions, scene programs, and concerts and has participated in various singing master classes.

Ioanna also has training and experience in yoga tantra, Hatha Yoga, Bhakti Flow, aerial yoga, kirtan and mantra meditation, sound healing, Thai massage, and more. She intuitively discovered a connection between voice and yoga in Athens while studying at the Athens Conservatory. She also completed her yoga teacher training, practiced yoga tantra, and spent time with bhakti yogis. Years later, in the States, she attended her first YogaVoice® Intensive and, in 2021, became a YogaVoice® certified teacher. Ioanna incorporates elements of YogaVoice® into her voice lessons, choir rehearsals, and music lessons. Her ideal voice student is open-minded and open-hearted, willing to be guided in an immersive, holistic vocal and artistic exploration—someone who shares her innate desire to express herself as a mind-body-voice-spirit being.

Ioanna has always been deeply spiritual and naturally intuitive. Communicating with the angelic realm came as an instinctive extension, ultimately leading her to extensive training in angelic communication. The chakra work in YogaVoice® heightened her intuition, enhancing her abilities to deliver angel readings as a lightworker. She offers readings for those receptive to uplifting and loving messages and guidance.
